The cable-car journey from Zermatt
The cableway journey begins in Zermatt and uses several lifts to reach Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The operator gives about 40 minutes of travel time. Allow more time for the walk to the valley station, admission and possible queues.
What is included at the summit
According to the operator, the regular return product includes the cable-car journey and access to listed areas such as the Glacier Palace, viewing platform and Cinema Lounge when open. Weather, wind or technical work may restrict individual facilities while the cable cars continue to operate.
Do not confuse it with Gornergrat
Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Gornergrat are separate excursions with different valley stations and transport. The Gornergrat Railway is a cogwheel train; Glacier Paradise is reached by cableways. A ticket for one destination is not automatically valid for the other.
Consider the altitude
The mountain station is at 3,883 metres. Rapid ascent may cause symptoms. The operator states that children under three must not use the highest section for health reasons. Seek medical advice in advance if you have concerns about altitude.

Is travel into Italy included?+
Not automatically. A cross-border journey to Testa Grigia or Cervinia is a different product and must be explicitly included.
